It's March in Boston. At this point, you would sell your first born to get away from wet socks, pale skin, and leaving the office in complete darkness. Can't afford that trip to Aruba? Let Boston’s sketch comedy darlings, The Dowry, transport you to a better season with laughter in the original sketch comedy showcase: (500) Days ‘til Summer. This hilarious journey will relieve your seasonal depression and ready your stamina for those last six weeks of winter.
(500) Days ‘til Summer is an immersive theater experience with two completely different scripts that switch halfway through the run. The “Turf” show that plays through March explores the long days of summer through the perspective of hapless doctors at a Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D) conference. The “Surf” show in April takes the audience on the water with a sketch comedy show all about vacation on the high seas.

The Dowry Bio:
Conceived by comedy fans in Boston, the Dowry has been providing pithy, hilarious, and straight-up fun sketch comedy since 2007. The Dowry’s collaborative writing style lends itself to deliberate yet silly performances. The six person, ImprovBoston house team is thankful to have been featured in the Philly Sketch Fest, Women in Comedy Festival, and were finalists in Boston Comedy Festival 2010’s Sketch Competition. The Dowry wrote and performed the full- length musical sketch comedy show Love, Seasonally to sold-out crowds at ImprovBoston in 2010. Love, Seasonally was heralded by the Boston Events Insider as "entertaining with just the right amount of humor without trying too hard, basically exactly what you want from ImprovBoston… Creative… Perfect… The laughs kept rolling.”
